Top 5- Hiking Trails in Forillon
There is nothing like a hike to fully appreciate the wonders of Forillon National Park! Here are 5 trails to explore in this sector.
Mont-Saint-Alban observation tower
Perched at an altitude of 283 metres, this observation tower provides access to a spectacular 360-degree view of the surrounding area. Depending on your departure point, you can reach the tower in an hour or hike the loop trail in about 4 hours.

Du Banc trail
The new Du Banc trail offers an easy 2-km hike. Cross the wooden footbridges, climb the lookout tower and enjoy a picnic in the picnic area. Along the way, admire the endless sea and Forillon’s famous cliffs.
La Chute
One of Forillon National Park’s hidden treasures, the La Chute trail is spectacular! Follow the winding boardwalk and wooden stairs through the forest for about 30 minutes to a lovely 17-metre-high waterfall.

Les Graves, Cap-Gaspé and Land’s End
The Les Graves trail is a classic that will take you along Gaspé Bay on foot or by bike all the way to Cap-Gaspé, at the tip of the peninsula, which is known as “Land’s End.” Keep your eyes peeled and admire the landscape, the lighthouse and, with any luck, whales swimming offshore!

La Taïga trail
Located on the Penouille sandspit, the La Taïga trail is a wide 1.5-km boardwalk accessible to hikers and cyclists. On one side, you can admire a sandy beach and, on the other, a salt marsh frequented by birds. Have your binoculars ready!
