Noël en Gaspésie (Christmas in Gaspésie) is a program of various activities to immerse you in the atmosphere of the holidays and experience the Gaspésie winter. Skating, sliding sports, traditional Christmas events, outdoor cinema, dogsledding, public market, New Year festivities, and much more! A multitude of activities to celebrate with your family, all in the scenery of Chaleur Bay.
White Lips – January 16 to 19, 2020
Calling all women who want to be introduced to backcountry skiing! The White Lips is the event for you! Experience an unforgettable weekend at the Chic-Chac in Murdochville in an all-inclusive package. Orientation to various techniques and equipment, sport challenges, powder snow, and festivities are on the program.
Traversée de la Gaspésie à ski de fond et raquette – February 22 to 29, 2020
Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts meet every year for this unique event. Over 6 days, enjoy 200 km of cross-country skiing and 70 km of snowshoeing on marked trails in the unique maritime and mountain scenery of Gaspésie. The TDLG is also held to savour Gaspésie and celebrate in good company. In short, a real all-inclusive sporting holiday!
OptiNeige – February 28 to March 1, 2020
Participate in this snow sculpture competition where thirty teams of sculptors participate while more than 22,000 people attend free activities, family shows, games and screenings in downtown Matane.
