An Eco Home
Located in the Jardins de Métis/Reford Gardens in Grand-Métis, the ÈRE 132 home is an ecological house. Built to the highest standards, it is now LEED Platinum certified. In summer, it acts as a showcase for eco-construction and can be visited to learn more. From October to May, it is possible to rent it as a cottage and enjoy this beautiful place.
An Italian villa
Stay in Tuscany … in Gaspésie! Indeed, the villa Carpinteri in Saint-Ulric is built according to the style and with typical Italian materials. The luxurious rooms with a view of the vineyard, as well as the sauna and the majestic cuisine will amaze you. It feels as welcoming as a friend’s home, as the owner himself welcomes you to his table for dinner in the company of other residents.
An inn at the top of the mountains
Perched at 615 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Réserve faunique de Matane, the Auberge de montagne des Chic-Chocs is a dream come true. It is accessed only via the shuttle. With its 18 rooms and 60 km2 of exclusive land, it is the perfect place to arrive and enjoy nature at its best!
A campsite on the beach
Pitching your tent in the sand and sleeping with the sound of the waves is what the Sea Shack in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts offers. You will be just a step away from the legendary festive inn and will be able to take full advantage of the party there, or to make a fire and contemplate the stars in all their tranquility.
A boat for a cottage
Le Griffon, an authentic fishing boat converted into a cottage, is one of a kind! Accommodating up to six people, it is fully furnished, has electricity, a BBQ, and a giant terrace with panoramic views of the sea. On the site of Griffon Aventure in L’Anse-au-Griffon, this cottage will allow you to enjoy this beautiful site and bar with sea views.
A prospector’s tent … and the wolves!
Sleeping with wolves is an activity offered by the Bioparc of Gaspésie. An area landscaped with prospector tents and round fire forms a camp worthy of explorers. The experience includes interpretation activities, a visit to the Bioparc, and a night on the site. The call of wolves and coyotes as well as the hooting of the owls will accompany you once night falls.
Cime Aventures features a veritable teepee village on the banks of the Bonaventure River. With a wood floor, door, ed base and fireplace, you can spend a night of camping in a rustic but comfortable way. The site also includes a restaurant, a swimming area, and a multitude of activities including the famous descent of the Bonavnture River by canoe.
The Auberge du Château Bahia, located at Pointe-à-la-Garde in Chaleur Bay, seems to be drawn straight from the medieval era. Built by Mr. Roussy in his backyard and originally for his own pleasure, it quickly became an object of curiosity. Converted into a youth hostel, there are dormitories and private rooms. Everyone eats at the same large table, by candlelight, because the Bahia Castle is first and foremost a place for meeting people, conversations and encounters.
