Attractions worth visiting
Many attractions in Gaspésie are open year-round: Musée de la Gaspésie, Musée acadien du Québec, Vieux Moulin honey winery and museum, Les Murmures de la Ville mural tour, Percé UNESCO Global Geopark, Percé historical tour, Savonnerie du Village soap shop, Circuit des Bâtisseurs historic route, Sanctuaire Notre-Dame de Pointe-Navarre church, Centre culturel Le Griffon and Chute à Philomène waterfall. There are also many art galleries, boutiques, health centers and spas, cafés, bakeries and microbreweries to visit!

Safety measures and appropriate winter clothing
Before you travel in the winter, it is important to make sure the activities you want to enjoy are available and you have the appropriate winter clothing. Make sure your car has winter tires. As a safety measure, be sure to find out about trail, terrain, snow and/or weather conditions and have the appropriate safety gear if you are planning to ski in Parc national de la Gaspésie (where there is risk of avalanches in the mountains).

Where to sleep and eat
In terms of where to sleep and eat, you have many options throughout the Gaspésie region. Reservations are generally not required in the winter since there are fewer visitors. However, if you have special needs (e.g., are travelling with a dog, need a wheelchair-accessible room, etc.), reservations are recommended since your options are more limited.

The key to travelling during the off season is to be prepared. Don’t hesitate to contact the Tourisme Gaspésie team for information at info@tourisme-gaspesie.com or call them at 1-800-463-0323. They will be happy to help you!
