Breakfast at Boulangerie Toujours Dimanche, Matane
A bakery, gourmet shop and café, Boulangerie Toujours Dimanche offers a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy a leisurely meal with your family. Breads, focaccia, pastries and other baked goods are made fresh daily on site with unbleached floor. The breakfast menu features a selection of products and dishes made on site served with delicious products from the region. The children’s menu offers homemade waffles served with local maple syrup and fresh fruit, eggs cooked any style, yogurt with granola and fruit, and many other options.

Lunch or dinner at the Centre d’Art Marcel Gagnon, Sainte-Flavie
Located near the coast, the Centre d’Art Marcel Gagnon restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in a warm atmosphere with relaxing music. Paintings are displayed on the walls, and the restaurant windows overlook the St. Lawrence. The menu features fresh fish, seafood, grilled meat, pasta, pizza and cipaille (a multilayered meat pie). The children’s menu offers several options including maple ham or fish of the day served with potatoes and vegetables or shrimp and scallop linguine.

Lunch or dinner at the Le Matelot restaurant, Baie-des-Sables
Open for lunch and dinner, the Le Matelot restaurant offers regional cuisine featuring fish, seafood (including lobster) and specialties from the grill (kebabs). Enjoy the friendly service, generous portions and magnificent view of the St. Lawrence. Children under 13 (and their parents!) will appreciate the varied (and affordable) children’s menu that includes a drink and dessert. They can select from spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic shrimp spaghetti, sole, northern shrimp or chicken kebab.

In a relaxing maritime atmosphere, La Maison du Pêcheur offers a wide selection of fresh fish and seafood (including lobster from the restaurant’s tanks), meat and delicious pizzas from the maple wood oven. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant is within walking distance of the wharf and offers a stunning view of Percé Rock. The children’s menu has several options, including fishcakes or fish served with mashed potatoes, rice or fries. Children’s meals include juice and refreshing vanilla ice cream.

Pub St-Joseph in Carleton-sur-Mer and Pub St-Joseph in Bonaventure both offer a varied breakfast menu in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. In the summer, you can enjoy your meal indoors or on the large terrace. Your children will be delighted with the extensive breakfast menu featuring eggs, waffles, crepes and omelettes. Fruit and yogurt are served with every meal, which also includes a small drink.
