Reford Gardens, Grand-Métis
Two excellent restaurants are located in the Reford Gardens. The Estevan Lodge restaurant is at the heart of the gardens, in a historic house that has been recognized as a heritage site in Québec. Chef Pierre-Olivier Ferry offers a menu highlighting edible plants from the gardens’ horticultural collection. The featured appetizer, called the Métis Bloom Spoon, is an opportunity to try flower petals from over 15 different plants in the same mouthful! Your other option is the Le Bufton restaurant, located at the entrance to the gardens and surrounded by forest. The cooks create your meal as you watch, inspired by local seasonal ingredients and edible flowers in bloom.

Lili Bergère, Sainte-Angèle-de-Mérici
In a heritage farmhouse surrounded by nature, Lili Bergère gives you the opportunity to enjoy a memorable country experience. The table d’hôte, which features local flavours, changes with the seasons. Try the lamb, raised on site, which is prepared in many different ways. The menu also showcases produce from the farm as well as their own maple syrup. Note that this country-style restaurant is suitable for small groups only, upon reservation. Bring your own wine!

Auberge Gîte du Mont-Albert, Parc national de la Gaspésie
The dining room in the Gîte du Mont-Albert hotel offers fine cuisine in a majestic mountain setting. Chef Rémy Michaud showcases locally grown or raised quality ingredients in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. On the menu: fresh and inspired contemporary cuisine, using regional ingredients. Don’t miss the hearty brunch on Sundays! You can also ask the kitchen to prepare a boxed lunch for your hikes in the mountains. The Gîte du Mont-Albert hotel also offers a bistro and grill menu, available in the bar or on the terrace in the summer.

Located a few steps from the Percé wharf, La Maison du Pêcheur offers tasty regional cuisine. The menu features a wide selection of fresh fish and seafood dishes (including lobster from the restaurant’s lobster tanks) as well as grilled meat, delicious pizza from the wood oven and tasty homemade desserts. Enjoy the relaxing maritime atmosphere provided by the huge windows overlooking the sea and iconic Percé Rock.

Restaurant Le Marin d’Eau Douce, Carleton-sur-Mer
Located along the water in a charming building steeped in history, Le Marin d’Eau Douce offers Chef Mustapha Benhamidou’s refined and sunny French cuisine. Enjoy this popular restaurant’s warm and cosy atmosphere, jazzy music and attentive service. The menu features regional dishes, with a touch of exoticism. Specialties include Atlantic salmon prepared in the style of the local Indigenous people, roasted scallops on a bed of saffron lentils, and duck breast with apples. Moroccan cuisine is also available upon reservation.
