Experiential exhibit at Exploramer, Sainte-Anne-des-Monts

The Sharks: 100 Million Deaths exhibit at the Exploramer museum reveals amazing facts about the sharks of the St. Lawrence. The exhibit’s main attraction is a semi-spherical screen that will immerse you in the marine world of the St. Lawrence. The exhibit also includes the opportunity to virtually dissect a shark and handle jellyfish. Other exhibits and several activities (including some at sea) are also offered on site.

Gaspésienne no 20 virtual-reality film, Musée de la Gaspésie, Gaspé

The Musée de la Gaspésie offers visitors a unique immersive experience aboard the Gaspésienne no 20, a cod fishing boat. Comfortably seated with a headset and earphones, you are invited to step back into the past through a 360-degree, virtual-reality film experience. You will find yourself out on the water, in 1963, in the company of two friendly local fishermen. Your virtual mission is to film fishing techniques, the history of the Robin company and life aboard a legendary Gaspésienne boat. Beware of storms! Once your journey is over, head outside to visit the real Gaspésienne no 20!

Tektonik multimedia adventure, Percé UNESCO Global Geopark

Visitors of all ages will enjoy the thrilling Tektonik multimedia adventure, which combines geology, history and cutting-edge technology in an exhibit that is the first of its kind in Québec. This interactive indoor show highlights the fascinating geological history of Gaspésie. Experience a voyage back in time with Agathe, a mysterious reader of stone; watch Percé Rock erode before your eyes; and listen to rocks tell their legends from millions of years ago…

Nova Lumina immersive experience, Chandler

Nova Lumina is a 1.5-km seaside night walk in Parc du Bourg de Pabos: a mythical voyage between earth and sky. Since, for reasons unknown, stars are falling from the sky, filling the beaches with light as they wash ashore, your mission is to carry a star on a journey back to the night sky. Lasting about 60 minutes, this immersive experience created by Moment Factory can be explored at your own pace and will appeal to visitors of all ages.

Underwater camera at the Site des Chute et Marais, Causapscal


Visit this salmon observation site near the Causapscal River. In the Marais sector, you can watch these majestic fish on a giant screen (when water and observation conditions permit), thanks to an underwater camera. In the Chutes sector, observe Atlantic salmon leaping the falls. Interpretive trails, guided tours, lookout points, a discovery centre, rest areas and picnic areas also await you in this magnificent site surrounded by nature.
