Snowshoeing
No need to be an expert to put on a pair of snowshoes and go for a hike in the forest. Breathtaking landscapes, wildlife observation, discovering otherwise inaccessible places: a snowshoeing excursion is a great opportunity to get some fresh air and play outside. The Parc national de la Gaspésie, the Village Grande Nature Chic-Chocs and the Géoparc de Percé are classics, but several municipalities have also developed trails that are accessible in winter in addition to ski resorts and outdoor bases.

Fatbike
A new winter sport for many, the Fatbike is practiced in Gaspésie in Forillon National Park and at the Station touristique Pin Rouge. The park trails are maintained by a team of volunteers coordinated by the Comité de l’entrepôt de L’Anse-au-Griffon. The Fatbike is allowed on the Le Portage trail for a stretch of 4 km (parking from L’Anse-au-Griffon). Bike rental is possible via the Centre culturel Le Griffon. On the side of Pin Rouge, you are invited to walk in the forest and on the banks of the river. Two Fatbikes can also be rented.
