Located in Cap-Chat, Valmont plein air offers a place to eat, cottages, charging station, and the descent of the Cap-Chat River. Discover this calm and perfect river by introducing yourself to kayaking or paddle boarding. Two routes are offered: a 5 km route (takes about 1 hour) and a 17 km route (takes 3 hours). After these activities which are certain to leave you hungry, grab a bite at the bistro and stroll to the beach in the village, or visit the wind turbines.

A ride to downtown Sainte-Anne-des-Monts
About fifteen minutes from Cap-Chat, the town of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts is your next destination. You can charge your car downtown and discover the surroundings. Exploramer, the Musée du Saint-Laurent, will introduce you to the marine species of the region. Aquarium, museum, tactile pool, and discovery activities at sea are offered. The more adventurous can continue on their way to neighboring village, Tourelle, and be seduced by a canyoning or sea kayaking trip with Eskamer.

In the heart of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, a ride along the sea offers access to the beach, a chocolate factory, and some restaurants. What better way to end the day than to enjoy a local beer at the microbrewery Le Malbord, admiring the sea?

Several good restaurants are available to you for dinner including Auberge Château Lamontagne and La Broue dans l’Toupet. La Seigneurie des Monts, a lovely inn with the charm of yesteryear, will allow you to have a good night’s sleep and to plug in your car to recharge.
